Not like I did the 1st 8 - 10 months.
Now? After over a year, it's not a matter of if I'm going to declare this idiocy a failure, but when.
I'd rather find a job & restart the 'X years to retirement clock', but at some point, the obvious is unavoidably obvious.

I job search every time I open my laptop, which is daily. Even if it’s just for 20 mins, it helps calm my nerves knowing I’m doing all I can. But even with that I wouldn’t be mentally prepared to speak with a recruiter on the weekend, especially not Saturday morning

Some recruiters do solo work so they can call during a Saturday. It’s not something I would do as a recruiter. I rather call people during the weekdays.

It depends if it’s a call it’s fine. But when it comes to applying, networking, posting on LinkedIn in during the job hunt I take a break during the job hunt. What other games do you play with your grandson ?
