Finally found a reasonably priced place in Chicago that takes it times and is not a chain. $13-15 for haircut and I always give $20 since it’s cheap. Also go every 2-3 weeks.
Before that, was closer to $25 at a barbershop and would give $30. I’d say most of my friends pay around $35 and tip $10.
Baci is the best.
Short men's cut $40 + $8 tip in Seattle, which is pretty average for a non-Great Clips, Super Clips, etc. barbershop in the city.
$50 and $15

$40+$10 with my usual girl at a higher-end salon in NJ. Went to a more experienced male stylist last week and he was $50+$10. I have difficult hair to cut that’s easy to screw up so I’m selective about where I go and pretty much stick to my main stylist.
$25 and $5, NYC

i generally pay $30-45 for a haircut (depends where i am - i don’t schedule more than a day in advance) and tip $10
Boston - go to a place run by a bunch of Dominican barbers in a neighborhood that hasn’t been completely gentrified yet (but it’s getting there). $30 for the cut plus $10 tip. Go every 3-4 weeks
