I think about this frequently. Not just around AI but off-shoring entry level work overseas with heavily documented processes. Those processes and the AI automation that will replace the training pipeline for new talent.
I don't necessarily know the answer, but I do believe we need to start thinking about how we as a society will recruit or prepare entry level positions in the future. I wonder if the answer will be less experienced years more technical type training and certification.
I've read some articles about that, and it really is something to worry about. As AI could augment some entry level jobs, one person, with AI help, could fill several roles. So some jobs are never filled, and people who could potentially move up are simply not brought into the organization. It's as if no one has really thought about where we will be in a few years if that trend continues.

This has come up in my workplace, I honestly don’t know how it’ll work and I can’t see it working myself!
