I had my car looked at today & unfortunately my transmission is still leaking from last week. The mechanic referred me to a transmission specialist & he said he would recommend for me to get my transmission fluid topped off every 2 weeks as a bandaid until I can get my transmission taken care of. I was supposed to go to an event for work today & was unable to. Also, I have an in person meeting on Mon that I wont be able to attend b/c I have to drop my car off. What would u tell your manager?

I can see a non solicitation clause in my current employer's offer letter than I can't join client within 12 months of my termination.

How do you deal with working on a brand that you're new on and all the past work has been awful but you're forced to continue on with the look/feel/tone of?

Is the push for diversity in ad agencies really a push for diversity, or is it a push for better, fairer (and much needed, and deserved) opportunities for Black people? Why no mention of opportunities for Native-Americans, Arab-Americans, Asians, etc? We had a discussion in our agency where one (black) person on the committee that helped move us forward said it was ‘a black issue’ primarily.

How are you all structuring your decks for client presentations?
Basically, since ad school I've stuck with the tried and true format of Insight (1 line on a slide), Idea (1-2 slides w/ a line+key visual), How It Works (executions, etc), and that seems to be the format that a lot of agencies use.
Obviously, this will always vary by agency and project, I'm just curious about the broader structuring rather than getting into the nitty-gritty details.
