How are you all structuring your decks for client presentations?
Basically, since ad school I've stuck with the tried and true format of Insight (1 line on a slide), Idea (1-2 slides w/ a line+key visual), How It Works (executions, etc), and that seems to be the format that a lot of agencies use.
Obviously, this will always vary by agency and project, I'm just curious about the broader structuring rather than getting into the nitty-gritty details.

that’s about it. though i do that for the quick bites. when it comes to selling a larger campaign, i tell the insight through a “one sentence per slide” story that helps them along the journey. makes them realize that, by the time i introduce the idea, it’s the best way to address the last 5 or 6 slides.

Neither could I, that’s why I asked. I wasn’t sure if maybe certain markets or industries might have a specialized format or something, but it seems like that’s not the case.

Name the most ridiculous micro-managing by partners that you experience.

I’ll go first: MP told me that on initial emails, I am always to start with “Hello [name],” but after the initial email, I am not to address her by name again in the same thread. Initial greeting can only be “Hello [name] ” because just first name is too brisk and a “Hi [name]” is too informal. Had a 5 minute, in depth conversation as to why she prefers it this way…

Pretty sure the saga of the slave driven company has come to an end I’m the only HR person at this company. Friday I had full admin rights, and went to check email Saturday; account locked. Payroll/HRIS locked out. PEO service says no pending termination is on my file. Went to the office today to get my things just in case. Located in CA. Was about to report numerous violations too. All because I couldn’t solve 8 months of payroll issues in a day. 🫠 Good riddance, I’m getting a lawyer.
