I think in America, we’ve historically had inequality issues amongst Black people. So I think by American standards, we tend to look there first. So I think it tends to hit you over the head faster than other cultures.
New York City, arguably the most diverse city in the country, is 0.4% Native American, 1.9% Arab-American, 14% Asian, 24% Black and 29% Hispanic/Latino. Look at this link which has diversity stats of 26 agencies: https://digiday.com/marketing/long-road-ahead-heres-a-look-at-the-agency-diversity-data-released-so-far/ THIS is why Black people and Latinos get more attention.
