I have 10+ of experience on the agency side and only seem to be getting bites from senior product designer roles trying to go in-house. I know agency titles can be a bit more inflated but is it going to reflect poorly on my resume to jump back down a significant level? I imagine it'll take longer to get back up to lead if going in-house.

Currently certified in AWS (CCP, SAA, and Security) and GCP (Security Engineer and Cloud Architect).

I have a brokerage account with 7k in it, split 70% VOO 30% SCHF. I now have an additional 11k I can add - how should I allocate it? Should I move towards an 80/20 split just in current funds or add things like a growth (VGT) or high dividend ETF (VYM). Any book recommendations for soft skills at an agency/studio? For stuff like giving feedback, meetings, presentations, client interaction, etc.

What would you do?
- You have your annual review with your manager
- They promote you up a level, you see your new shiny salary and title
- End meeting
- Get a DM to meet with manager the same week
- Get told that your title was “a mistake” and that you would keep the salary and but not the title. Due to a communication with upper leadership.
- 2 months later your title updates in Messaging channels and with HR with the leveled up title.
