That sounds more like the name of a department, not a title. Are you working directly with clients? What exactly is your job, how big is the company, what industry, whats your boss’s title, whats’s their boss’s title? Also graphics are usually included in creative services so to me it sounds a bit redundant.
“Redundant” sounds sad but it’s kind of true in my situation. My previous team is gone because the team couldn’t make any profits for last two years (because of the poor management) and the boss did too many harassment so he got fired. Anyway HR transferred me to this current team. Of course, my current team needed graphic designer but they didn’t need to fill this position this quick. Maybe my current boss thought I am unnecessary asset of the team..? Basically he is forced to take me in his team. My boss is really professional so he never express it to me but I can feel it when he treats the other team members… he didn’t intend it for sure but I can feel the difference (sadly). I totally understand his situation so I don’t blame it. I personally respect him too based on his career and personality. I want to learn more from my boss for sure. All my team members are very professional and thoughtful too. I like being here no matter what other people think.
Maybe that’s why he gave me the title “graphic & creative services”. Because I’m kind of redundant employee here at this team. Now we worked together for a few months and we are closer than before. I don’t feel any difference or distance. But I don’t know how to bring this up to my boss.
