Probably not your place unless you’re directly reviewing their work, they’re on your engagement or you’re their coach. But then again no one will stop you from giving him a reality check if you really want to.
^ Tax Director 1 is somewhat onto something but nothing is stopping you OP from reaching out to that coworker’s coach/supervisor/engagement leader and relaying your feedback to their direct supervisor and having your feedback included in a performance review handed to them by somewhat who does directly review them.
I have mentioned this to their coach, as I work with their coach frequently enough that it has come up. I’m also close with my coach and it’s been discussed. This person just changed their tune to “my coach is tanking me”. I changed my wfh/in office days to avoid and even move my seat around a lot. They just always seem to catch me on a bad/busy day and frustrate me to no end.
I have one of these. Very important to document and provide feedback on specific situations where you do work with him or where you observe these behaviors. In our situation, we eventually had to get a partner involved and have a conversation with him on how he was being perceived by others in the group (both below and above him) and that if he he feels like he’s not being compensated fairly to come talk to them rather than complaining to the group and causing drama.
