Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

EYs B4 brand is better. But pipeline at EY has major constraints that ACN doesn't, because of SEC oversight and independence . Also ACN has relatively competitive rates vs EY due to better off shore integration and utilization overall. So it truly depends on what practice, level, and comp you are coming in at and with how big a book of business to bring along. If you share more, will be easier to give some direction. But yes, EY tech consulting has been in rough waters for a while in many practices. Hope this helps.
EY is better hands down. I’ve worked at both. Accenture was brilliant but lost its way the last decade and become full IPP now with poor management. EY is not perfect but still a partnership and a better place to be overall.
We have been underperforming. We are trying inorganic ways to replace revenue they gave to assurance. That plus mismanagement they are under pressure. Also it is LIFO when it comes to making cuts at PPMD level. Business Consulting is confused- they try to copy coo potencies that exist in other parts in the firm. It was created to make Risk people feel important but if you think about it business consulting has no meaning in the market. Friends are protected. Poor leadership - nepotism throughout. Culture is bad. All partners partners have left the firm so this is just a worse form of ACN and IBM, with WITCH aspirations and a B4 brand that is. Or close to PwC or D when it comes to consulting.
100% agree, @$$ kissing culture ... friends are protected, way too much politics. Been with the first for 15 years and i am not the only one who feels this way.
EY is better than ACN. You will be better off
Have colleagues at both firms and EY feels closer to MBB than ACN. Less of a tech body shop and ERP focus

EY is fine and as a partner have a lot of autonomy. Highly dependent on sector and competency. As long as numbers are good nobody bothers me. Leadership could be better but that’s been the case everywhere I’ve been.
Stay where you are. It’s not a right time to join.
Would you mind elaborating?
Going by the LinkedIn posts I see, their cybersecurity business is booming and many Accenturers going there. So agreed with most people sentiments. It’s about which practice you’ll land.
EY is always turning over the lowest 10-15%
Regardless of rank.
The results are not good relative to forecast, but are still projecting strong overall growth. EY is dealing with the same uncertainties other firms are encountering - tariffs and government work contracting. It’s not cataclysmic, but challenging. Happy to share more via DM.
Depends on sector and what competency you are joining
Sorry meant industry sector. I am in oil and gas. Generally speaking I am bullish on the coming Fiscal Year
It is a down year but there have been consistent cuts throughout the year due to performance and no-path. Low performers being released faster than ever
How is TMT sector? Have an offer for EY’s Tech Consulting team and thinking I should make a leap or not. Any suggestions or guidance is greatly appreciated!
Ey and Tech consulting don’t go well. Avoid unless targets accommodate this reality
Having left Accenture as an L3, take it
You are safe from anything first year and while it doesn’t feel like it while you are there Julie’s ACN is among the lost toxic workplaces out there. You will look back gratefully
