For PwC fishes who left recently, how did you consolidate wealth builder into 401k within benefits express to avoid the 20% federal tax withholding that was described in the benefits package? I tried to do this online but it didn’t show as an option except to rollover to an existing IRA or take a final distribution. Do I need to call benefits express?

Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

What about those of us with no kids
I'm not sure the credits are massive. I still pay a lot in taxes. As kids get older the credit is less even though they get more expensive (food, entertainment, clothes, car, etc.)
I'm still on the fence with this. However, I do acknowledge the fact that it's one of the most important initiative the government can do to offer relief to those struggling to make ends meet.
I think the incetivtive is to encourage people to have more kids, because many are worried there won't be enough people in later years to fill the holes in the work force. If they can make room for a program like this, they can make room for universal healthcare.
Personally, I found it helpful because I owe every year anyway, so I'd rather get the cash in hand than have a small amount deducted from my balance. Either way, you're pretty much getting the same amount, just in different ways.
