Last night I went over to my friends house (she has 2 kids, 2 and 4 yo). She and her husband were asking me about my pregnancy and planning. And were asking what I’ve prepped to date. I’m only 13w2 days so I think it’s way to early for buying stuff, but I did mention we hired a baby nurse for when the baby comes. My friend completely berated me, short of calling me a bad mom already, saying “what is she going to do all day? Don’t you want to bond with your child?”. I’m so upset by this.

As much as I talk about wanting a man to take care of me financially, I have way too much pride to allow it when it actually happens

In CA: PC bought condo while with gf, then quitclaimed it to her via quitclaim deed and sold it to her for $100k, which they put in writing. Fast forward they broke up and PC tried to get his $100k from her and filed suit but her attorney is saying that since he quitclaimed the property to her he has no rights including no rights to the breach of contract claim. So something crazy happened to me last week. I was at the airport, and as usual on call after call. The check in line was going ridiculously slowly and at some point turned threw my hands up in frustration while looking around to find another place to check in. In doing so, I catch the eye of the behind me. He smiles and says something. I just sort of nod and carry on with my call. My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated.
