Coupa was a great trade for me. It’s under where I sold it so watching closely now.

Dow up. Tech lagging. Could be potential sector rotation for a few days. Be careful out there

Tesla - if it breaks below 50 period SMA on the daily at 330, the next big target I see is the gap from 8/11 at 287, which also coincides with its most recent breakout area. It won't be a stright shot there as there is still room to fall, but if there is another strong down day then I think that is where it will go to.

LOD was 20 cents shy of the SMA. Close but no cigar. Closed slightly higher tho

Something else interesting to note - VIX declined into EOD even as the selloff picked up speed. So maybe a reverse indicator of last week.

The sell off was a slow decline. My ROKU puts took forever to print.

Why is everyone so bullish on Qcom? Doesn’t the China news pose plenty of risks? Or is it all just riding the 5G hype?

BA covered calls seem like the way forward since they seem to be unable to break past 175.

I got stuck with 100 shares selling puts at 170. I probably should have been more conservative with my strikes.
On 9/4, I opened a short Sept 8 3280 spx put / long Sept 11 3300 spx put. Basically a diagonal debit spread.
- If market goes up, I will close the short position for a profit and open another short put position expiring Sept 9. Idea is to sell premium until I cover the long position.
- if market tanks, I will close short position for a loss, and let the long position ride...
I usually only do spx put verticals. Collecting premium if market goes up. Closing the short position and letting the long position ride if it goes down.
Thoughts?

Covered calls on VZ got blown up because I guess it’s the only stock to not drop. I might just roll this out to 2021

Yeah. I often skip dividend and earnings weeks. I do weeklies so it’s a bit of admin but OK returns.
Thanks for comparing notes!

Financials looking weak - broke out of the upward wedge, will see where it closes on the daily. A close below 24.29 could spell significant trouble.
