I have been looking for a new job for over a year and a half. Submitted my resume to over 1000 companies , had maybe 4 interviews. My resume was done by a friend that owns an executive recruiting firm in NYC. (he only places CEOs and I'm not one) and I constantly get ghosted . Even for jobs that match my experienced background. I don't understand . I look everyday , some jobs haven't changed in months. Nothing new hardly ever. Any advise? anyone? I'm getting to the point of giving up . I give up

I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...
