Which privacy cert would you go for, CIPM or CIPT? Debating which I should test for, since I have competency in both. Which has better ROI for career, or in greater demand in industry?
Question: which privacy & data protection cert has highest return and value to your career (CIPM, CIPT, CIPP, CDPSE, DLP tool cert)?
OTS is growing rapidly and leadership has asked us SMs to assist with recruiting. One of our needs is for cybersecurity and data privacy consultants interested in M&A e.g. CISSP, CISA, CIPP, CIPM, etc
Privacy fish - Anyone taken the CIPM and can share what the exam is like? Content outline seems like application of standard consulting approach, so how do they test it on an exam?
Looking to specialize in privacy and was considering getting the CIPP/CIPM/CIPT. I already have my CISSP and CISA. Is it worth it?
Just lateraled and looks like I’ll be taking on a sizeable privacy practice from an associate who left recently. Any benefit to CIPP and CIPM training/certification as a lawyer? In DC if that matters.
Any recs for CIPM study books?
For those in AM: thoughts on CAIA, CIPM, etc?? I was wondering if these will actually help vs. just waste of money.
Planning to take the CIPP and CIPM. Will be doing self-study. What is the “book” everyone refers to for studying? Is it just the “study guide” the IAPP sells? Does anyone know if the study guides and sample questions you can buy on amazon are sufficient to use for passing? Appreciate any and all advice.
Hi there. Which laptop would you recommend for personal use that’s a good deal? If anyone has any discounts with makers like apple or Lenovo that would also be appreciated. It’s an unforeseen expense😭
Anyone here broken into real estate private equity from big 4 consulting? What steps did you take to jump into RE PE? What gaps in knowledge did you have and how did you fill them? Outside of the knowledge gaps what other things do you think you needed in order to get into RE PE?
I’m getting out of PA finally! No more billable hours. So excited that I can have my life back!
My wife and I moved to a new city so we could be closer to her family because we’re having a baby. We’ve been here for a few months now and I haven’t made any friends. It doesn’t help that I’m fully remote. I’m not depressed as I’ve got so much going for me right now, but the only way I can describe it is that I’m beside myself. Not sure what this post is really, just tired of sounding like a broken record.
Salary for senior creatives in LA?
I am struggling to engage a child who is very behind cognitively and acts like a one year old, they are 4 years old. Any tips for engaging her in appropriate ways?
Ladies - any recommendations for a place to get laser hair removal in NYC? Thinking about getting it done for my lower legs since I'm sick of shaving constantly and nothing seems to work.
Curious about others’ experience onboarding during covid. Initiation has been especially difficult, hard to understand my work in the context of the team, and my manager never checks in with me—not even sure what he does tbh.
Is there anybody here that has started back to work with students in the classroom? If so how many days and what state? Thank you.
Favorite SPG property in NewYork?
Does anyone know a role at MBB that could potentially be a Pivot from IT audit / risk & Reg consulting?
When you're crushing your project meeting impossible timelines, but bad initial estimates you weren't involved in make it seem like you're whole team is lollygagging and blowing the budget. Le sigh.
EY audit peeps, do we get the AICPA membership paid for? And do I just charge my ethics exam materials though the AMEX?
I have an interview for social media strategist with a rising DTC startup in NYC. I’m feeling imposter syndrome, since I’ve never marketed such a big, hip company. What books can I read or courses can I take to come into the interview solid and prepared? Most of my marketing theory is based on Seth Godin books and reading psychology.
Has anyone ever quit their current role without having their visa documents finalized/completed?
How many bullet points is too many for 1 position? I've only had intern, associate, senior (for 1 month) experience at the same firm. Add in the education and other stuff, and I can't quite reach 1 page unless I load up on the associate experience (10+ bullets).
Looking to get a laptop stand. Any recommendations? My laptop is the HP Zbook (10lbs). I want to raise it so it’s at the same level as my other monitors. Looking to spend less than $40.
I work in a small cpa firm that only does govt audit, but I don’t want to be pigeonholed. What can I do in my interview to show I can work in big4 & do non govt work (even if I have 0 experience)? TIA
