I have been working in the US for past 6 years as a Sr.Business Analyst.I have been in the express entry pool for a while with 480 score in FSW program but due to covid delays and slow draws I haven’t received any invitation yet. Also, my IELTS etc. is about to expire soon.
So, I was wondering if I could apply jobs directly from the US and interview to see if anyone gives me an offer either for open work permit or something like British Columbia tech pilot program. Let me know your thoughts.

Folks, very new to the EE process. Most recent draw cutoff was 75 points but there are still folks with higher scores in the pool. Does that mean candidates are picked based on time in the pool? A CRS100 could be picked over a CRS300 if the CRS100 has been in longer?

I'm currently on implied status in Canada (applied for an extension before the expiration date on my OWP), but lost my job two months ago. I'm actively applying (and interviewing) for new opportunities. What's a good time to mention to a potential employer that I'm on implied status? I tried coming plain from the first interview, but that has been working against me. The CIC website says I can keep working with an expired WP and SIN but recruiters think otherwise. Help!!!
