I hear a lot of people aren’t getting any response when applying for jobs. but being on the other end of it, I feel like the opposite is true. We get ghosted all the time from applicants. Why apply for a job? If you have no interest in being there is it to fulfill unemployment? if that’s the case and you apply and don’t respond then you’ve just basically made yourself in eligible. if they ever find out, you owe a lot of unemployment back to the state you live in it doesn’t make sense to me

I’m trying to get my parents into adopting healthier eating habits but nothing is really sticking. Do you have any recommendations or like books I can give them to teach them what’s actually good to eat vs. falling for good marketing/ fads?

Spent the pandemic working on myself, got sober, focused on working out, left the music industry and started a career where I can make money and have a steady work schedule. Maybe this isn’t everyone’s version of “growing up” but that’s what this was for me. Now that I’m vaxed and seeing my friends, it’s clear we have little left in common, and honestly a lot of the things they do straight up embarrasses me. I don’t want to lose these long term friends. Has anyone else been in this situation?
