Every agency you hear horror stories about can be a great place as well. Different people have wildly different experiences as everything depends on the team you work in and your personal situation within the agency.
My guess is that the more positive stories get shared less often on this app. (If someone would, there would be mocking and dismissive comments anyaway.)
But since you’re asking: I love it at FCB, I’m enjoying the work and the people I’m working with. The leaders I work with are genuinely good people.
My time at FCB Canada (admittedly, a while ago now) was incredibly positive. There’s good reason Tyler was made global CEO.
All the best agencies with great clients, visibility, budget and work/life balance are also the ones I’m working for at a salary deficit and living paycheck to paycheck as a freelancer, since they know their worth in an employer’s market and won’t give out healthcare, benefits, pto or full time contracts. So there’s not really any agency I can think of, unless one is brave enough to hire me full time.
I started working again with an old coworker. I didn’t realize how much they hated the agency that we worked at previously.
Completely different experience. It really just depends on your team, your clients, and your briefs.
I liked bbh nyc when I worked there
Campbell Ewald honestly was a great place. I didn’t really appreciate till I left how smart and wonderful everyone was. I enjoyed my time there don’t get me wrong no, just didn’t realize how rare it was that pretty much everyone was great and so talented. They just have shitty clients that don’t make great work.
