Dumb question but asking. If a company has a vesting period for 401k that’s only for the money they match right? If I put money into 401k and leave before the vesting period I can transfer the money that I put in but not the money the company put in right?
Which one of the two has more long term monetory benefits/growth? Working as a product manager or working as a software developer. I need an honest opinion.

Please help me with this important question: I just enrolled in my employer’s high deductible healthcare plan (joined earlier this month) I have been having some chest pain and need to take a chest xray to hopefully rule out pneumonia. I want to actually go to the er for this but I haven’t received my health insurance card yet. Not sure how much this typically costs, so is there a way I could use my insurance?
When you book flex travel do you pay the benefits tax on it or just book it like normal?
Health insurance advice: I put money in my FSA last year and forgot to use it. Will I lose it? How do I make sure I don't lose it?
Deloitte 🐠: noop question. Do i still need to add the Vanguard account into Tracking and Trading if i have funds and stocks with them beside 401k ?
Anyone have an updated list of BCG benefits? Tried using the search but it seems the posts that list benefits are quite old at this point. It would be great to learn what the benefits look like now!
To 🐠 that transferred to overseas (non-US/CAN/UK) offices: what happened to your 401k account? How do you continue your contributions if your payroll is from another country’s office/subsidiary?
I’m one year into an Analyst role in the internal strategy group for a F100 healthcare company - would making the switch to Capgemini Invent be a good move for MBA/future strategy consulting opportunities?
What is the most aggressive 401k fund for fidelity?
Been seeing a lot of people talk about investments and I want to move to a more aggressive 401k strategy
I’ve been thinking about getting an MBA, but don’t really see the financial return. Paying $120k+ for two years and not working. If you got an MBA, did you see the value in salary or other benefits?
Deloitte 🐟 what are the best full-time benefits
Emergency cash fund, check. 401k, enrolled. Next steps? Thinking about putting 2-4K in bonds then mutual funds. Am I doing it right? Any advice/suggestions appreciated. 23/m/1 year out of school.

Doing broad “business transformation” consulting in the Federal government, thinking about the next move after becoming mgr. How high can comp get for Federal? & what are realistic exit opportunities?
Nothing like being “at work” for 8 hours, and deciding to start working at 5 PM on an EOD deliverable.
I asked 3 of my higher ups to write me letters of recommendation a month ago when I put in my resignation. I went on PTO for a couple weeks & followed up with my manager today. He told me “actually I was told we aren’t allowed to write them for you. Sorry.”
I asked why and he just shrugged and continued the conversation...
Has anyone heard of anything like this? Bosses “not being allowed” to write LORs for exiting employees? I’m leaving on my own terms & good standing.
Thoughts on Palantir long term?
Hillarious 😀😀tomato shaking zomato
Nah thanks though
Pretty highly rated consistently and up for director this year. For years been thinking of starting a business (franchise). Pandemic has put a dent in that but still viable option. Gross profit is 350k (median) and a line of business I’d be very interested in. Clearly this is less pay than new parter (but could open more than one eventually) and risk may be higher for failure. What other factors should I consider when evaluating staying to partner or trying my hand as an entrepreneur?

Which one in terms of Job security(main concern) , WLB , yearly average hike , better projects ?
Would you leave for another offer if it was only a financial benefit? (15% salary bump and 10% higher performance bonus per year). Been wanting to move, but everything but pay is better at my current company. Team, benefits, WLB all better for me now. But I’m scared that if I don’t take it, I won’t get a monetary increase like this again, or any other offers lol. (I’m in HR at a consulting firm and the role would be another HR role at another consulting firm)
Lateraling and want to send an email a to couple of clients I worked closely with letting them know. Anyone done this/have good language for that email?
Where are my swing traders at??
Eth at 2800+ and market cap north of 300bil. How high can it go? My concern is the current unlimited supply. Market cap will keep climbing even if prices stay unchanged.
