Definitely catch a sunset view from Jackson Street Bridge... I think it's the best place for it. And if you’re into history, the Civil Rights Museum is powerful and absolutely worth your time.

Welcome to Atlanta! I'm a native and currently live here. I'd also recommend the beltline. Be sure to park at Ponce City Market, and you can hang out there, do a little shopping, then walk out to the beltline from there. Also check out the north georgia mountains, they are beautiful and it's a great way to get away from the traffic and noise of the city. Elijah is really nice and has little shops and eateries, and also Dahlonega. If you enjoy hikes and waterfalls, you'll definitely like Amicalola Falls. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen, wherever you decide to go, it's supposed to reach 101 degrees Wednesday, that's not including the heat index. 😰
