Do you bill late night waiting time? It's 1am now and only reason I'm staying up is to wait for the printer to provide a revised OM so I can review that our changes went in properly and sign off. Do I bill the time between now and when I sign off? Just curious how you all treat this time.

6th year - over 2000 hours, great review last year, this year they said will not promote me. They will do a mid year review early next year and if still no good, will discuss “transition” plan. Sanity check here - I lateraled to a big firm last summer, and since then I’ve noticed a few red flags. We have zero project management in a partner-heavy group and no admin support, and every day is a constant scramble. The top partners do not treat associates or staff well and I had a brutal “last straw” situation last week. I’m burnt out (pacing at 2200) and anxious all the time, I hit a wall mentally/physically/emotionally. Is it worth it to look elsewhere or is this just big firm life? 🥴
