I received a verbal offer last week. I'm supposed to start my new job on May 6th. I was going to submit my resignation letter tomorrow, but I haven't gotten my new job offer in writing yet. Is it better to wait to put my resignation in now or wait until I have the written letter? My last day at this job is getting pretty close.

Anyone been praying for something (or someone) for a long time (weeks, months, yrs) and it seems like nothing is happening/changing? I have and feeling really discouraged about it today. Anyone else?

Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.
