Recently, my appraisal cycle got completed. So whenever a recruiter asks about CTC, will I need to add the Gratuity and Insurance and then tell the Total number.

In my company Total CTC = CTC + Gratuity + Insurance.

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?

Hi Fishes, I've 2.25 Years of experience in SAP Basis, but I've lost interest in the same due to not receiving proper training, inability to practice on customer's system and shifts. I'm looking forward to go for MBA/changing technology, which one would be a better option? In case of the latter can you guys suggest lucrative technologies which has little/no coding and can definitely give good packages? Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...

I just accepted an offer in writing. The new job will start the background check next which I’ve been told it may take a while to complete. My start date at the new job isn’t until 2023 so there is some time for me to turn in my notice. I don’t anticipate any hiccups in the background check but is it wise to wait until the background check is complete before turning in my notice?

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital.
