In my point of view, better quality of living is how peaceful you are, how happy your are, and how you make your family always joy, fun and happy. It doesn't matter if it is village or town or city in India or any other high grown foreign country. How our hear feels is the better quality of life. Don't compare with others life style and move behind them . Live your happy life. By the wai, I don't have international experience but have non peaceful and peaceful life experience.
Better quality of living simply means leading a life that goes as expected. It lacks the suspense that a lot if us Indians get in life.. such as irregular water supply, unexpected power cut, constant outage of internet, pot hole ridden roads, flooding of storm water drains in monsoon, road safety, traffic voilations, corruption at lower levels such as traffic police, muncipal corporation, muncipal hospitals ..In general better civic facilities almost worthy of the taxed paid and ofcourse good weather due to less pollution too.
On the flip side, It also means you do all the work at home yourself, wash the utensils, cook for yourself, clean the house all by yourself unless you can afford outsourcing to expensive cleaning services😊
But things are changing back here in India too. The social aspects that I mentioned may take some time to improve but the salaries earned here are increasing leading to prosperity and better life comforts slowly and steadily.
I myself am 22 yrs experienxed IT professional but I have always lived here all my life and I travel only short term.
I value the social life here, being close to parents is most important for me and I never regretted not going to onsite for long term. My parents and inlaws get to enjoy the company ofAl their grand child and he has grown up in their shadow All my household work is outsourced to multiple house helps who arent as expensive as abroad. I am close to my culture and celebrate all the festivals with near and dear ones with delicious food that I have grown up eating.

through my own experience and what I have personally researched, better quality of living means having the best access to commodities and goods for a great number of people. the more who can afford commodities without difficulty the better the quality of living there is. that then trickles down to all other aspects of one's personal life regarding enjoyment, happiness, contentment and the like. I think we are still considered a developing country is because the quality of living here is not on par with other western countries. but then again, it's not our fault that we got colonized some time in our past
