I was selected and received an offer from NTT Data over two years ago, but to date, I have not received any joining letter or further communication from the company. This prolonged delay without clarity or updates has been very disappointing and has impacted my career planning. Clear communication and timely updates from the employer are crucial, and I hope the organization works on improving this aspect for future candidates.

Have you had to change your start date after accepting an offer and how did it go? I told them I need to give 30 day notice and so I set my start date (incorrectly) assuming the background check and drug screen would take a few days to clear. However, the drug screen is now taking over a week and a half (still not finished, maybe tomorrow). Apparently things are much slower due to staffing issues and labs are backed up. It’s cutting into my 30 day notice significantly. Thoughts?
