I’d appreciate any insight on this. I enrolled in an MBA program last summer but ended up taking a gap year due to a medical issue. I’m trying to pivot into Investment Banking, but I’m concerned about how the gap year might be perceived. On my resume, I could list the program as 2024–2027 and mention the gap year, or I could just put 2025 as the start year—though that would leave a one-year employment gap. I’m worried this might raise red flags, especially compared to classmates without a gap.
