I’m a relatively new full-time CD still figuring things out. I’m overseeing up to 10 projects at once that each have various deliverables and tentacles. I don’t yet have a good system for keeping track of all the moving parts.

How do you prevent things from slipping through the cracks? Living deck? Word doc? Teams messages to yourself? Run through all your open tabs at the end of each day? Is there an app for this I don’t know about?

I also start every review by asking the suit in the room what we discussed last time and what the latest is on the project.

I use Trello boards for each project, but the real answer is good PMs, which are sadly few and far between.

I’m genuinely unorganized, but what helps is if working in a deck like google slides I have the team stick the brief at the top along with the deliverables, and then organize their ideas by deliverable. Every deliverable section is labeled. I play format cop but they learn quick and it’s helpful to have it as a ready checklist.
