We are a 13000 headcount company and offer only PPO medical plans to employees. If we want to offer a different Medicare plan to a business unit in California which has headcount of 30, can anyone suggest what’s the best option ?
If your competitor reached out to ask “how do you sell against us” would you tell them? They should already know... or at least have an idea.
I’m getting texts from my Director past 10pm on weekday evenings. What do you do to set boundaries with your leaders? How do you let them know that you are in their corner, while still setting boundaries?
Anyone here struggling to get new meetings? A thread for posting what services your company offers and maybe we can help make some connections to get into new accounts.
I'm wondering - who has great success with LinkedIn? I can get anyone to accept me as a connection but to engage them, I fail every time! What has worked for you to get engagement on there?
How do you review resumes in a way that reduces implicit bias? I just finished reading the book, "Biased," which discusses the implicit biases we all hold. Our company has not invested in an ATS software, and we’re looking to create a scoring rubric / database in excel based on the job description and candidates. What are ways to ensure the resume review process controls for bias and is still efficient / expedient?
I keep hiring sales people who are super enthusiastic and overpromising on what they deliver. I put them through a trial month (no base + commission only) and they do not close a single deal, Even though the commission structure is amazing and I’m incentivizing them through the roof. We experienced sales people are asking for a base and commission but I’m scared that I’ll end up having a base and the same thing will end up happening. What am I doing wrong?
We've had a few instances of possible COVID sick employees that returned with negative test results. Upper management is basically asking if there is something they can do to help control what employees are doing in their off time (ie. going to bars or other places with a lot of people). They even went as far as to mention something about a wedding that 3 of the employees are in together. Can an employer have ANY control over an employee's time off? It seems crazy to think that they think they can.
I am a Canadian. I have a wealth of experience in Education and Educational Leadership (Doctoral Level). I am looking for a position in Southern California. I would require sponsorship. Leads? Ideas? Thoughts??
How documented and transparent is the performance evaluation process at your orgs? Do your orgs go out of their way to publish the process broadly to employees?
If firms go exclusively remote, I have zero reason to remain living near “home office”. Likelihood we’ll shift to that model, and can live wherever?
What duty takes up most of your time at work, and does it match your job description? I get bogged down by employee questions/service, despite being in a senior leadership position.
How would you respond to an applicant who won’t make themselves available for an interview during normal operating hours?
It's great to finally have a bowl of our own! In terms of HCM software, what is something that all of them tend to be missing, aside from a good user experience?
There is a former employee who made some questionable purchases with his company credit card. Are we allowed to deduct them from his last paycheck?
Do seasoned enterprise reps actually think that MEDDIC helps the sales process? This is coming from the perspective that champions are undervalued and the economic buyer in a F500 company does not usually speak with vendors. The market here is developer tooling. Curious to hear thoughts as many sales leaders use MEDDIC as an inspection tool to manage sales reps with little practical value for deals.
Is it a reasonable to ask to be rolled off, because the Job is not the one they told you it would be and also the fact that I’m going crazy being alone in this project? I joined the company for almost

Can anyone speak to Mckinsey’s public sector practice? I’ve been contacted by a recruiter for a role. My background is Federal Consulting and I’m looking to stay there. Just wondering how it is there.
I’m seeing a ton about supporting local restaurants during the crisis, but nothing about supporting other service businesses like nail salons or spas - anything we can do other than buying gift cards?
Starting at Deloitte soon. Thoughts on merging business and personal phone? Saw a post way back recommending not to do it.
Not kidding but I already can't wait for the next weekend due to my stupid and reckless decision to sleep less than 10 hours this weekend. This week is going to be rough...😵
I am looking at the ustraveldocs website for India and I do not see a Dropbox category. I do see it for other countries though. Is it buried under a section?
