I'm a sculptor focused on Family Entertainment Centers & mini-golf. Most recent manufacturer I worked for used a 7-axis CNC industrial robot. Well, even with automation, much of this work has left the USA, because other countries pay $5/hr for skilled labor, about 1/6th the labor cost here.
But, the tech will shift to 3D-printed. Less labor than milling EPS foam & hardcoating. What type of filament would compare to the tough & flexible features of polyurea coating (bedliner plastic) ?
