If you do now, it will be cheaper compared to if you do it 6 months down the road. :)
Not cheaper anytime soon, constructions were halted during covid, so till supply (stagnated number of condos) go up to meet demand (increasing from HK et al) it wont go down - recommend to settle it now than down the road
Damm I was really hoping the situation would improve, I'm looking at prices 3x 2019 prices.
Any areas which are hidden gems? I'll be working at South Beach Road and prefer to stay in private housing.
Can try South Beach residences 👍
Soon? Not with the insane demand and extremely limited supply. I've been viewing houses and per the agents and landlords, it's only going to go up because people are desperate for rooms and interest rates are going up further, think 3 digits of enquiries to a listing. Many landlords are even limiting to 1 year lease only because they expect it to go even higher. Might want to look at further locations if price is a concern. Beware that listings can be gone in mere hours, some people offer without even viewing the house because they're familiar with the area.
If you want hidden gems, get locations far away from MRT stations and perhaps even bus stops, if you can afford to drive.
Consensus seems to be that rental markets will soften in the next 12-16 months

The question is how are you going to maintain your visa in Indonesia. Plus you will be paying taxes in Indonesia as a resident there, might be a 0 operation.
Unlikely to come down anytime soon the next 6 months at least. The current cooling measure had heated up the rental market of late
Not soon for sure. And can’t even predict it.
Perhaps a year later at least prices stabilise

Wow this is wild 😵💫😵💫. Maybe companies in Singapore should also offer a housing allowance like Dubai
