Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Yes they've refilled the AUKF which would manage redundancy discussions, yes we don't have a budget for pay rises without redundancies and yes we're losing our top performers.
Just because the signs all point towards it being a horse doesn't mean it couldn't be a zebra
The AUKF changes were just the cycle - everyone has a term to serve and at the end they can stand for reelection or go. Lots went this time - read into that what you will, but it’s not about redundancy. The ECF draws from AUKF, but they’re not the same thing, and one doesn’t have to be a member of one to join the other.
