I’m completely new to Google cloud but I’m from CS background. I know programming, SQL, networking concepts, operating systems concepts etc. How long will it take me to prepare and pass GCP solutions architect certification? What’s your recommendation for preparing?

Do you count internships towards your years of experience? I did 20 months all together interning but not sure if that moves my needle from mid to senior when job hunting.

I am having skills of Analytics but not getting job I know Excel and other tools also Power Bi, Google sheets, Google Data Studio, Python, My Sql in learning.

Those of you who have left consulting for Program/Project Management at tech companies (not Product), what do you think of the switch? Have heard anecdotally that work can be uninteresting and career progression suspect, but seems like a very chill, high paying exit. Does this differ greatly if it is technical PM? I am currently working mostly in Data Analytics, but I want to transition into Data Engineering. I've applied to a couple Data engineer positions but it seems I don't have the qualifications for them. Should I maybe look for Jr. Data Engineer positions to get experience and try to move up from there? If so anybody know of any Jr. Data Engineer positions available?

I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷
