Imagine this. You apply for a job and the AI tells you exactly why you got rejected: not enough weekend availability, too short an explanation for your last role, missing one keyword. Would that honesty help or just stress people out? I feel like this could change everything.

It could help people, but when we use AI to screen candidates, you miss the nuances of someone’s experience and why exactly they did or said something, and it’s not always a negative thing that should count against them or disqualify them from a job. The weekend availability one is legit, the too short explanation for the role is questionable and the keyword one is nonsense. If we knew the benchmarks and what AI is looking for, it would possibly be fair. But we probably will be very know the criteria they use…

Oh absoluely but like everything we don't know the criteria for why we get screened out half the stuff so just one of the mysteries!

A lot of places don't provide feedback for liability reasons. They don't want something they said to be misconstrued and spark a discrimination suit. Turning that task over to an AI tool seems like a recipe for disaster, there's always a chance it will say something off the wall and create some mayhem.

Well it can't be that bad set isimits or give it specific responses I mean what's AI without a little trouble anyway!?

Honest feedback could be a game-changer, but I can see it being both helpful and stressful at the same time!

It helps give people the direction they deserve! But might make some people go off the walls I suppose 😂
