Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?

I'm from Socal not in audit but I would guess $125k is the average for an experienced manager. Can be higher depending on experience, but likely starts to cap off around $140k.
Audit doesn't pay that much to start with. The number I put is actually a little higher than the range people posted on big4transparency for Los Angeles.
This is also for base comp, before bonus.
Check Glassdoor
Glassdoor data seems a little dated. Makes sense though considering recent salary moonshot. Try talking to a couple recruiters to get an idea of going rate in the current market. Worked for me (got +25% offer at Big 4). Also, ask for more - leave room for negotiation.
