Yup. Not a great company. IMO it is not a good company for experienced or mid/senior roles. Definitely a good stepping stone for freshers as they can learn a lot. The projects are 80% Fintech like kotak,HSBC,HDFC,JSW Finance, Tcs partner projects, etc
The pressure is too much you would lose your peace of mind for sure, it depends on the project again. In most of the cases you have to work from the client office location and they treat you like a coolie as they are paying to Searce for your service and you can't complain as the Searce don't give a sh*t about you. They just need numbers and opportunities with clients. And last but not least there are 0 perks of working here
Cons:
- no work life balance
- no friendly teams/management
- no office perks/activities
- no recognition unless you make sound for everything
- no good hikes
- short term projects
- no employee perks
- no proper HR/manager interaction once u get into a client project.
- quarterly reviews have happened they just give you a random rating so your variable gets affected.
- 5DAY WFO, some clients ask you to work extra times and on Saturday and Sunday with no comp off and pay
- Cloud teams have to go through a lot of stress here. dev and data teams are good i can say because they work mostly work from Searce office and or for inhouse projects. They have a bit of flexibility compared to cloud engineer and cloud reliability teams.
- you will feel more stress if your earlier company has some good WLB and flexibility. And always relocation to Bangalore or Mumbai is not worth it for this company.
- they will include, annual bonus and variable pay. But thing is they won't pay it properly and you will just get hardly 50% of what they promised.
There are many i can't write everything here.
Pros:
- they will give you a mac book (don't fall for it). Mental peace is more important than a Mac
- 6 months probation (you have some time to switch)
- they provide joining bonus only if you ask
- job security is not on thin line, I can say on avg people stay for 2 yrs. But many switch in the probation period after the toxic work culture here
THERE WERE NO PLENTY AND HONEST REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY WHEN I WAS THINKING TO JOIN THIS COMPANY. I HAD TO JOIN THINKING IT IS A GOOD COMPANY AFTER SEEING VERY FEW GENERIC REVIEWS.
SO HERE I KEPT A VERY GOOD REVIEW SO THAT IT CAN HELP OTHERS TO CHOOSE.
I was a Senior Cloud Engineer*
It is a good company if you want to learn more about cloud. They deal with many good projects (shortlived though) but the learning exposure is good. You will get a chance to work on end to end stuffs. Very helpful people around.
They provide good salary too
Perks are not that great : limited wfh options.
Got lead data engineer role, need help to understand
