I was initially informed that I had been selected for the first round. After two days, I followed up regarding the scheduling of the second round. In the meantime, I also received a call from Tata Consultancy Services requesting my availability for the next round, and I shared two suitable dates and time slots.

However, I am now being told that I did not clear the first round, which directly contradicts the earlier communication. Additionally, when I raised this concern, I was asked whether I have a recording of the conversation. This is quite unprofessional—recording calls with a recruiter is neither a standard nor a reasonable expectation, and suggesting so sounds inappropriate.

Furthermore, my calls are currently not being answered, making it difficult to get any clarity on the situation.

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Hello Fishes,

So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

Is it sign of an Imposter Syndrome 🥺
