Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

There is no job security in any private company, it's all about profit and loss.
In Globant it is the same, your job is secure as long as you are billable then you will get some time on the bench.
thats so true
you will have to secure your position so that it will always be billed and you will keep adding value to the org growth as well
not just work for an account
this approach will always help you to stay relieved and highlighted out of all
if you think you are billable and company is getting money why should I contribute to org growth then chances of you getting out is more if company wishes to ramp down the head count
It seems only the case in Globant
Here in Cognizant they don’t ask to contribute other than in account
you can still join Cognizent then
you will have issues if you join Globant
I have already joined Cognizant but i dont like project work culture here
I dont like to stay uptil 10 pm to attain calls
Also I dont like my colleague here
you might get project which will ask you to work until 10 pm even in Globant
clients like EY or Deloitte they are US focused mainly so overlap is needed
