Recruiter reached out to me about a role, & I’m kicking myself now that I’m reflecting on it. They asked me about my compensation range, & when I responded that I’d like to know what the range was, they said the client was still figuring it out. What I should’ve done was said “ok, can you let me know when they tell you?” but I gave him my range. And now I’m irritated that he likely lied because the company knows the range they’d be willing to pay before asking a recruiter to do a job search 🤦🏻‍♀️Ugh

People who’ve moved between firms, how hard is it to acclimatize yourself to the new systems and procedures.
