No. I wear it. If it not a huge cat eye, I frankly don’t even see how people would really notice.
See below - I think all of these are professional looking. Mine kind of looks like Penelope’s but top only.
Hey OP. I'm in the same boat and I don't think it's unprofessional at all. I actually feel more "vulnerable" if I don't have my eye makeup on, because I look like a 12 year old. I find dabbing a bit of bronzer onto my eyelids also adds a nice "pop" to the eyes!
Totally fine. Also consider eyelash extensions. You’ll feel like a goddess even on days when you have no time for makeup!
I wear it all the time. I turn down the drama and keep it thin. It brings out my eyes and make my lashes look thicker.
I wear it all the time! Not unprofessional at all.
As long as your wing doesn’t extend all the way to the end of your eyebrow, it’s fine!
Thanks for the replies! As a girl with small eyes and short eyelashes, I feel like a small wing is the only way to make my eyes pop
If I could do a cat eye half decently I would wear it every day I wear makeup. Don’t have it wing out halfway to your hairline, keep it small, and you’ll be fine
I wear cat-eye eyeliner (thin line) and I have a small nose ring that I’ve had for a decade and am not taking out. Just rock it, whatever “it” is
Female here, I think yes, but my background (before my current firm) was with an extremely conservative management consulting firm, so my idea might be skewed. However, I think it depends on the industry and the client. For management consulting with a large firm, I’d say it’s considered unprofessional, but maybe on the IT consulting side, it is more acceptable. Also, color could make a different too. A brown might be more acceptable than a jet black, and you can always add mascara for a bit more drama
Not unprofessional at all!
For lashes, try Babelash serum. It’s non-prescription so takes longer than Latisse, but it isn’t as irritating. I have permanent makeup for eyeliner, no wing, but add as needed. I don’t think it’s unprofessional as long as you go conservative with your eye shadow 👍🏻
