I’m trying to get a rotation in FDD but my partner is worried about temporarily losing resources in our advisory practice. So, what are some things I could learn in FDD that I could bring back to the advisory practice that might convince the partner to let me go on rotation?

For those who went from audit to FDD, what is the biggest difference in the work you do? From the look of it, it's basically audit minus control work. I love audit in general but hate controls. Seems like a good move?

So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July. I have an asset purchase of a retail store transaction. Seller is keeping the second location. Seller is licensing the name from the buyer. Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay?
