It seems that many of us have a few nasty regular customers we have to deal with. I have one that caused such a scene in my store last Christmas and I haven't forgotten. She's back shopping Christmas this year and I refuse to be civil with her / serve her to my normal service level. I feel bad, but she was so incredibly rude to myself and my coworkers! Do you have anyone like this that you have to serve regularly?

Thankfully, we don't usually have rude customers that are regulars. I remember all of the people who are rude though. I am glad they usually don't come back.

A question for VCs: I’m currently a VC analyst. I want to eventually come back to the VC industry and perhaps become a partner (if possible). However, there’s an opportunity to work at an Endowment Fund (Harvard/Yale/Stanford level). Would you recommend me to spend the next 3-4 years doing something that’s not directly VC related? Would it be hard for me to come back to the VC industry with this experience? Why or why not? Thank you so much for your time and help!

I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.
