I've been a copywriter for 3 years now, and I was in a different agency each of the three years. One thing that was consistent for me was that my supervisors, mostly the senior copywriters, weren't so proficient with writing copy. They were good at offering a direction, but never have they come up with something I thought was impressive. Do you have the same experience?

Hi everyone. I’m a front end software engineer. I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. How would you approach asking the recruiter if there are any SWE openings I could be considered for instead ?

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

How do I get into a project? How long do I have to wait more?

Is there an uberpool version of chartered private jets? With this summer openings and travel restrictions lifted, domestic flying is going to be a massive hassle and aiports overcrowded. I recently accepted an offer and have onboarding coming up. Any idea how busy I’ll be in the evenings for those couple of days? The calendar invite only goes until 4pm but I wasn’t sure if there’s any additional events that go on.
