Is reaching out on Linkedin the best way to contact a recruiter, or should I look for their professional email?

10 YOE in strategy/ MGMT consulting. Got an AWS "company fit" fit but not a fit for the position I interviewed for. The recruiter said they are going to keep looking for openings that would be a better fit (non-tech). Has anyone received an offer in this situation, and if so how long did it take?

J3 at a big law (not US) looking for a transfer to another big law firm. Is it faux pas to cold email a managing partner with my resume? The firm he is managing has no listings to my knowledge.

How do people network naturally? I’ve applied for numerous software engineering intern positions, but I have yet to move past applying. I know networking is key, but I just feel awkward and in a way “dirty”… like I don’t want to feel too pushy or impede on people’s time to get into tech. I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
