For me the alternative is having no job at all. Unfortunately, seems like this is the reality these days
Yeah, I went through that multiple times throughout my career so far. I think it’s relatively normal. Best advice I can give is to continue learning on and off the job where you can, and keep looking for the best fit.
Agree with ECD1. At this point, your excellence in discipline should be the baseline. Keep honing every thing else on the periphery. Client relationships, project workflow, avenues of opportunity, integrating other disciplines, etc.
Makes you a much better offering esp for the opportunities that you don’t deem a seamless fit. You don’t need the perfect one, just one and you can either grow into it or leverage it for something else.

I run an acct, but my favorite is working as a creative team on other accts. Jump in, rock some ideas, jump out. Don’t even have to present to clients. Love it.
