I've been in a CD role for a few years now, but the company, the work, the clients, just aren't what I want anymore. Most days, I feel like an overqualified graphic designer.

Because the current CD role doesn't operate in a very traditional manner, I don't feel qualified for. I just feel stuck. I want something different, but I don't feel like the opportunities out there are a fit. Has anyone else been through this?

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

Has anyone dealt with the death of a parent while working in public accounting? How did it go? My dad is probably going to pass soon and trying to prepare, I guess.

I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing.
