So depending on what country you're from, that could be an issue. Certain names and certain accents have certain connotations in the states. You can get around this by going with a nickname. Like, for example, if your name is rajesh, you could go by roger or ray. Another thing is is that stores are often giving bonuses out to their managers for keeping hours low. As a result, they often keep minimum staffing. If their store plan calls for forty workers, they might only keep twenty eight, and the budget might only allow for 20 to work full time.

You should approach the manager if you can and then ask them for a link. They might say to apply online, but oftentimes they can create a link that will get them a referral bonus.

I went thru covid last year and lost smell and taste - since recovering the smell of things has changed and usually it is for the worse - meats now smell like dog or cat food and citrus fruits like onions … this has been for months now and no sign of getting better - anyone else experiencing something similar ?

I had 21 as fixed and 3 variable. Good salary for my experience. But then came covid and now I'm at 48 fixed salary.
Thanks to covid I was able to achieve this salary at just 7 yoe. When I joined the industry my manager at 10+ experience was earning 10-12 lakhs.
Things have changed so much after covid
