I'm serving notice period in TCS and my last day is in 2 weeks. I requested for pickup of laptop in the portal but I came to know that it will take time for pickup and I won't be available if they come late. So I decided to go to office and surrender the laptop as I'm in the location of office only. Is there a seperate request to be raised for surrender of laptop and how to cancel the existing request for pickup. Please guide.Tata Consultancy

It also depends on your BATNA (best alternative to negotiated agreement). What will happen if you don't accept the offer? Do you have another job? How good is the current job?
You might also want to think about what is the ZOPA (Zone Of Possible Agreement). Apparently what they are offering you is below your reservation value, as you're even considering walking away from it, but do you know what the pay range is? Maybe there's one number in the range that is possible for them and also for you.
Thinking about these data points will help answer your question on whether it's possible to come to an agreement with them.
Good luck!
It depends on 1) whether the company said that the pay range is set in stone and 2) whether you discussed your salary in the interview. If the pay range is set in stone, then you cannot negotiate for more than the top end of the range. If the pay range is not set in stone, you can negotiate. If you discussed your salary expectations in the interview but did not clarify your preferred range, I would be careful when crafting your negotiation. However, if the pay range is not set in stone and you haven't yet discussed your salary, you can absolutely negotiate without fear. Once you receive the job offer, show your gratitude, and then emphasize that you want to be in a partnership with the employer that benefits both of you. Express why your relationship with the company would benefit from your receiving the higher salary, and show how you will meet and exceed the company’s expectations. Ask if it’s possible to increase your salary.

Depends on how far they are from what you were expecting. A few thousand is easy to negotiate. Need more context here.
