I’ve noticed I feel the most fulfilled at work when I can see the direct impact of what I do.

Agreed!! I really enjoy helping customers one on one and showing them upcoming features that they’re excited about.

I could say I feel a version of that. In some ways the real impact of most of what I work on will be somewhere downstream and I won't see actual users involved with it. Having said that, there are times when I feel like I've made an impact on a project and experiencing how my colleagues respond to it can be gratifying.

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I am having discussions with my teachers on ways that I can better support them and the students when remote.

Hello Fishes,

I need some advice regarding this situation and what to do. So I work for a company that offers outsourcing services to major investment banks around the world. I have been working for a new client for about six months now and they seem to like my work so far. Recently I saw that they're hiring to get people on their team at my level. My question is, should I talk to my client and try to pursue them to consider me for the role they're hiring for?

Which companies have best WLB, least stressed DS/DA roles? I’ve been suffering from some immunology issues and stress from work would worsen it, therefore I want to move to a company/role with good benefit (esp. healthcare) and great WLB (little chance of PIP, etc). Doesn’t have to be high-paying, as long as it can support my life (single) and long-term medical cost. Thanks in advance.
