I need some advice regarding this situation and what to do. So I work for a company that offers outsourcing services to major investment banks around the world. I have been working for a new client for about six months now and they seem to like my work so far. Recently I saw that they're hiring to get people on their team at my level. My question is, should I talk to my client and try to pursue them to consider me for the role they're hiring for?

Does anyone at Atlassian (or who knows someone at Atlassian) have news on the hiring slowdown? Any updates on which business units / orgs / positions the company will continue hiring for? Or if it is actually going to be a hiring *freeze*? I did a final round interview with Atlassian that went well and I'm hoping to hear back soon...

I am a Client Executive with 7 years in the industry and 5 years of HR experience prior to that. I make 60k, am I underpaid?

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

Happened to me with Mindtree recruiter, for an IoT leadership position where the interviewing VP chose to no show twice… after which I thanked the recruiter that I was impressed by their book of busi-ness and that it was intimidating to be thinking about the prospect of working for Mindtree… as I’m too incapable for those performance standards… 😂😂
