Just got out of a 4-hour interview and I'm wiped! They had me walking to different buildings and talking to so many people. I kept a good attitude but man, it was a lot. Are long interviews like this a good sign? They said they'll let me know something next week.

I had a company do an informal phone interview with a VP, a phone interview with a field sales manager, a formal interview with the vp, then they flew me to their headquarters in another state and I spent half a day interviewing with the same people and they added in a few more, including another field sales manager.

I had been directly referred by one of their reps.

Not only did they not make me an offer, but they didn’t pick up any of my expenses except for the hotel room and the plane ticket. I paid for all the food, Ubers to the airport, Ubers to the hotel. Ubers to their office. Ubers back to the airport. Everything.

I hope that you haven’t stopped looking and interviewing and grinding. Because there are no guarantees until you have a signed offer. Don’t assume anything.

Btw - that VP that declined to hire me? He left for another job 6 months later.

Dang, I'm exhausted for you. I'm mentally fried after an hour of interviewing. But yeah, that's gotta be a good sign. Can't picture them investing that kind of time unless they're reasonably sure you're the right person for the job. Hope I'm right and you get the good news next week.

Hi All,
I'm joining EY India Technology Consulting in a week. However, EY is also my client, primarily we're involved in the maintenance of their internal user interface.

I can see a non solicitation clause in my current employer's offer letter than I can't join client within 12 months of my termination.

Are this non solicitation clauses followed in reality? Everyone's has been asking me to chill, since I'm joining as scon, not a manager or with any trade secrets. Opinions pls.

I'm an RN of 7 years, experience as a coordinator, on committees and do all the things. But now I just don't want to go to work anymore. I have anxiety every morning over nothing, just having to go perform my job. I could do my job in my sleep so I'm just lost and confused. My body is clearly sending me messages to leave. But where do I go? I think I need to step out of patient care.
