I'm assuming you never got a response, because the real answer is "it depends on the system". With that said, yes you should assume that recruiters have not read the summary and be prepared to restate your skills and values in every meeting you go into.
It also depends on the version of workday that the company has bought because there’s more than just one version. Many companies by just the basic version and that means you have to redo everything on the application because it didn’t pass correctly even from a PDF file.
I have not seen any platform that will take your summary. You have to cut and paste it into your job description last job description meaning the most recent. I have not seen any platform that takes it not just workday.
Unfortunately, recruiters don’t share so we don’t know what they see and what they don’t. They tell us everything is fine but how many people are putting in 100s of applications onto up to 10 different platforms and still no new job? There is definitely a problem.
If this were a problem with a specific company, there could possibly be a fix. However, there is probably going to be a class action lawsuit on LinkedIn because people feel that they’re discriminating against the 40 and over protected class. LinkedIn uses workday.
